late 70's hit. a bit of a challenge
This will be a challenge as my memory is almost no help at all... sorry.
I think it was called "Getting out" or "I'm getting out" or something similar.
Sung by either a high pitched male or a deep voiced female... sounded a bit camp.
It was about the singer leaving someone they obviously couldn't stand.
The lyrics listed all the other persons belongings that the singer wouldn't miss. I cant remember any of the specific items but it was things like "your old guitar" "your silly hats" etc.
It went something like:
"keep your old guitar, your broken down car, your silly hats, your table mats........ Coz I'm............... gettin out"
Please help me if you can, it's driving me mad trying to remember it.
Thanks.
