Solved: Seeking alternative rock artist/song

I don't have much to go on. I have heard this song the last couple days but can't get much of the lyrics down because it's playing next door and I can't hear it too well. It's an alternative rock song. Sounds like a band similar to Hawthorne Heights, Saves The Day, etc.

Only lyrics I can really make out that i'm 100% sure on is "Do you want to stay" followed immediately by "Do you want to go" and those 2 lines are repeated several times.

Have tried google and that seems hopeless. Even try tweaking the phrasing to "Do you wanna stay? Do you wanna go?" but no luck with that. Yeah, not much to go on. Sorry. I'll try to take advantage of my at&t phones musicID program next time I hear it, but until then, maybe one of you will know from those few lines. Thank you!

The song that immediately comes to mind is "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" by The Clash. But I don't know of a cover or sample of this song.

:/ Yeah, several people I asked said the same thing right away (about "Should I stay or should I go"). But it's a much newer (sounding) song. I don't think it's any mainstream song that plays, or has played on the radio regularly.

It wasn't Zach Swift either, but thanks for mentioning his music. I like it. The tune of the song i'm trying to find reminded me a lot of the song Rescue Me by Hawthorne Heights. It just has that kind of a feel to the song.

I'm probably going to just go try to find who was playing it tomorrow. I know they liked the song too. They replayed it a few times..lol

Ok, I found the artist/song finally. For anyone that cares, it's by the artist The Academy Is... and the song was titled Automatic Eyes.

The lyrics I had were a bit off. That can really make this tough. :<
