Hello,
I need help identifying these two R&B songs. Here's the year listed and some of its lyrics.
1) 1997? 1998? (This song I recorded from a music video that was shown on BET. It is was either from the "Blue Streak" Soundtrack or came out around that time.)
"Gyrlz has arrived" (repeated several times in the video)
Lyrics:
Oh, oh.
Chorus: Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna say
When the music hits you, Just relax and let it flow
Got a .... front door
And get your groove on
Verse: So many people around the room cannot believe
Everybody's dancing Nobody's tripping
Plenty of... to rock my world
Chorus: Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna say
When the music hits you, Just relax and let it flow
Got a .... front door
And get your groove on
Ending: Get your groove
Let your body move
Keep it funky
And the music hits you (repeats)
** Left Eye from TLC raps on this one and it sounds very similar or sampled from one of Whodini's songs.**
2) I don't know whether it's a jazz or R&B song, but heard it on the radio several times. It sounds more like a jazz song with a female voice. It sounds very similar to Eric Benet's "Femininity" and Leidisi's "Alright".
Lyrics:
There's a (We're in a ...) rendezvous for love
In the park
There's (We're in a ...) rendezvous for love
Baby, baby
All I've been waiting for
For you my sweet
Come with me ... oh
Verses (parts): Riding high on the wings ... Share with me..
Ending: There's a (We're in a...) rendezvous for love
I need to know the artist and title. Including the lyrics and year of the songs is optional, but it really does help. I will try to get back to you on the name of the Whodini song where the first song came from, if I can.
Thank you so much.
