Solved: Mahalia

Does anyone remember which band recorded a song about Mahalia Jackson in the 80's, I think? Please put me out of my misery - afraid I can remember nowt else, just got a bit of a chorus stuck in my head.

I found a refrence to a song called "Sometimes the Lord works mysteriously" as a remembrance of her. Could that be the one? I'm still trying to get a sample ... but from descriptions it doesn't sound like a song a band would do.

It's from the early 70s also ...

When Mahalia passed Pastor Benson wrote this song about her, titled, "Sometimes The Lord Works Mysteriously - In Remembrance of Mahalia Jackson". Pastor Benson had hoped one day, that Mahalia would sing the songs she was writing.

Or perhaps "Mahalia" by The Bible?
As far as I remember, the song was from their 1985 album "Walking the Ghost Back Home".
