Solved: Heard at London Drugs 80s' song

Hi, could somebody please help me identify this song, it sounds like something Bowie, Simple Minds, Modern English, Talk Talk, Psychedelic Furs could sing. It was on the 80's station at my local london drugs, and it went like this, "at the end of the night you can see?/seek? any?/everyone. then something about "at the end of a gun" Thats all I remember, but it was really catchy. I know its not alot to go on. But I would appreciate any suggestions. I already tried a lyrics search, but came up empty.
