Solved: Song I heard on radio

I dont have much to work with, but I heard this song on the radio and really liked it.

I dont remember any specific lines, but the words "sun" and "shadow" were repeated alot int he chorus.

The only line I sort of remember was something like "They didnt go till the sun went down that day"

Also my friend that was in the car with me commented that the song was about "parents who ditch thier kids to go on a roadtrip".

I know im not giving much here, but I hope you guys can help!.
