"tennessee ....."

I've been haunted by this song for a month or so. I could swear I've heard it in some old movie, but I recently heard it on WRAS, Atlanta college raido station.
The chorus end with a lyric that sounds like "tennessee line." The last word is drawn out and sung by multiple voices so it's very hard to make out. From the other lyrics in the song I think it might be the name of a bar. The song kinda reminds me of The Lovin' Spoonful, but I'm pretty sure it's not them.
