This song has been sought since it appeared in Rescue Me in 2007. It remains a mystery.

Alright...this probably isn't going to be much help, but...

Having done some extensive research, Episode 6 in Season 4 which aired in 2007 is titled "Balance." And it's actually episode #406 according to the official Rescue Me website at fxnetworks.com. On said official website, it lists the featured music for that episode as "Wedding Song" by Abel. However, I cannot find a sample of that song anywhere. No album, no lyrics, and nothing on the artist. I was able to come up with a few lyrics from a different forum, but I couldn't tell you how accurate they are:

I should point out that the fx website is an episode behind on the song listings. So, the song that was featured on episode 6 is actually listed on episode 7 on the website.

Anyway, I thought I'd share what I'd found. Maybe someone can use some of this info to actually solve the mystery once and for all. I hope I've helped at least a little. Cheers!
