    Default Solved: Can anyone assist?

I heard a beautiful song today, but the coffee shop I heard it in did not know the title or the artist!

It was a female singer, a little like Amy McDonald in style, but I don't think it was her. Googling the lyrics and using this site have not turned anything up: possible the song is very recent.

Fragments of the lyrics are as follows:

"I see the stars and you're right here with me"

"Take my tears as kisses for you"

"Every time I feel the rain I'm calling for you"

Many thanks if anyone can point me in the right direction so that I can download the song!

Still no luck tracing the above lyric: any other suggestions as to where I might look?

It's driving me mad - never had such a problem tracking a song down before!

That line, "take my tears as kisses for you" somehow sounds familiar to me but since googling ain't gonna help i'm gonna take a trip to songs i've been listening to most recently and see if i can come up with something

    Default "Take my tears" etc.

Yahtzee: I would greatly appreciate that!

See also the other lyrics I quoted in my earlier post, if you do go through your playlists.

Lyrics were very clear and I'm confident I wrote them down correctly.

At least through tracking some of the other posts here I'm being turned on to some other music I wasn't aware of, but it's painful when you hear a great song and don't know the details.

Oh i agree, it is totally painful i'm trying to find a song myself for a very long time and it's really annoying!

So i heard a couple of songs and couldn't find anything but i can't assure that sentence is familiar to me. I'm gonna keep looking
Still can you just tell me a little bit more like if you would consider that as a "love" song in terms of melody, like if it's slow or would be something you would dance to!

OK, yahtzee: mid-tempo, I'd say. Definitely not danceable. Not quite a love song, but perhaps singing about unrequited or lost love. Female singer, I think on her own with just a guitar - possibly piano. Melodic but not a soaring ballad. I suggested Amy McDonald, but not as light in tone as she tends to be: the track was more sad / yearning. Appreciate your efforts, encouraging that at least the lyric sounds familiar. I checked your post but I'm afraid it was not familiar, btw.

    thanks for taking a look

I heard about every song i have on my ipod last night but didn't got lucky maybe i think i know it and i don't but i can swear i heard that sentence in a song before.
Do you know if, where you heard it, was it from a cd or a radio station? Maybe by figuring out which radio it was, it is possible to check their website, sometimes they have playlists and that stuff there.. it could be something!

I work in a coffee shop, and we have this on our soundtrack.
Because of the way our music's set up, I had no idea what it was and was going loopy trying to figure it out.

But I can now say that the song is

Right here with me by Crystin

and can be found on her album Astronaut.

    Default Solved!

Storel: I checked out Crystin's myspace page and this is it!!

Now all I have to do is buy the album or download the track from Itunes or from another source.

Thank you so much: considering that she's a pretty obscure German artiste it's hardly surprising that no lyrics are available via Google.

Jumping up and down here....I really thought I'd not find out this information!

Thanks too to yahtzee for checking his collection, much appreciated.

I'll be recommending this site to everyone I can, and will check back regularly to see if I can help anyone else out.

    Thanks again.

    Oh wow great!
I was definitly getting it wrong from another song, but it's great that Storel figured it out!

Default Solved: "Right here with me"

Got it from Amazon as an mp3 for the princely sum of 79p.

No chance of a freebie fileshare on this one..lol.

Well worth it, and learnt about some other music I might enjoy on the way.

There were a lot of tracks with similar lyrics, but not an exact match: however, your encouragement / lifting the thread back near to the top surely helped, yahtzee.

Very much hope you find the track name you're after.
