Can't think of this song or artist :-( Please help

Dear All,

My friend and I (my friend more than me to be honest) used to listen to a song, which in it's day was way ahead of technology, and in the middle of the song, a voice over said 'I jump from this speaker over here..... to this speaker over here' and the two sentences came from different speakers. We thought this was very clever, but cannot for the life of us remember which song it was, nor who the artist was! She has even enlisted the help of theatre staff at her local hospital (one of whom is in a psychobilly band.

Please anyone help before it drives us mad(der)

Depending on how long ago this was......

When stereo first hit the market, there was a sample (demonstration), record that came with every unit, and it had those exact words as part of the demonstration. There was music and sound effects on the record also.
