Solved: Help find this song please!

I heard this song on Dawson's Creek and have asked for help several times and no one has found the sound I'm looking for. I don't remember which episode it was but the lyrics go something like this:

He looked around to see if anyone laughed because he thought it was funny but it wasn't that funny. He's always hoping that the moment will last .... vacation from this one situation.

It's sung in a really mellow tone by a guy and..that's all I know.

Please help! It's been stuck in my head for so long!
