    I remember her from about 10-15 years ago. She played guitar, had a band with her, sang at least ONE really good song that made it big time.
    NOT KT Unstall, KD Lang, but her (groups?) name seems to sounds a little bit like that. I can not stand it that I cannot recall what the song was, let alone any words but I HAVE to know who this is...

    Check Out Shelly West although she was more like 20 yrs ago. But she had the frizzy 80's hair and wore a cowboy hat on one of her album covers.

    Sounds rather like Linda Perry (then of 4 Non Blondes) to me. Otherwise, how about Sheryl Crow?
