    Default Solved: Rusty Goodman song...

    Hi
Here's the problem. This artist recorded an album in the 1980's about 80-82 or so...and the title was You Make It Rain (if my memory is correct.) There is a song on it that I've heard no where else, nor have I seen this album anywhere...there are some of the songs that he recorded on several other sites out there, but suggest how I can either find the album with the title of a particular song I am looking for or the song itself which I only remember some of the words. I have NEVER seen the song anywhere else.
    thanks.

You Make It Rain For Me is Track 9 on this compilation.

thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this is not the song I am looking for. The song deals with the woman caught in adultery and Jesus writing in the sand before her accusers. Do you know this song? THANKS for such a quick reply!

Canaan Album CAS-9848 - You Make It Rain for Me - Rusty Goodman [1979])

I can't seem to find the individual tracks therein online anywhere, but you can get the actual vinyl album here.

    http://vinylrehab2.home.mindspring.c...rd_albums.html

(I'm not advertising for these people - they just popped up on a search).

Otherwise, EBay sometimes has old vinyl available.

    Talking This Is It!!

Thanks again to AWESOME folks who have found the album...it's the song: He Wrote Love...THIS IS THE SONG I have searched for without success and now even I cannot find it anywhere online. Dan if you would be so kind, can you tell me if the song title is "He Wrote Love Letters In The Sand" or just what it actually says. I have searched by author without success. THIS is a truly inspired collection of songs. I loved it when I was just a teenager...oh yes..not in vogue for the times~but very meaningful to me and I had it on 8TRAK of all things! LOL! With the artist gone and now the medium changed...I have said for years I would sing it myself if I were to ever find it...the meaning is so inspiring! THANKS AGAIN so much!!! If you would be so kind Dan to look up that whole title for me #5 on side one.

    blessings! cheryl

    Cheryl,

I don't see that song available in a digital format. Rusty has a greatest hits CD but your song is not included. If you would like the complete album transferred to CD, contact Vic Ferri at the link below. He can transfer the album, remove pops and clicks and include the original album art for a modest fee.

The album is available on Ebay.

    Thanks Dan!
I can't find it anywhere either...but thanks so much now that I have a title...it's such a shame that some really good music is lost out there...I am sure that this song isn't the only one either...I am sure there are many that have disappeared from the face of time...
    THANKS again!
