    Years ago on the CWT they showed a anti-war video of Canadian singer with the lyrics 'me and joe didn't have to shoot nobody down.' Joe was the GI Joe doll. The singer's voice was raspy and sounded like Dylan.

    Anybody recall it or the singer?

    Greetings,

    It was the country video channel on US tv. Back in the cold old days of Nashville Now with Brent Emery before they made it an all video channel. It was a long time ago. The song was pretty clever showing how violence is embedded in our culture with kids toys.
