Default help!!

need to know who sings and the name of the song. All i know are some scattered lyrics..."his name up on the marquee" and "those planes just don't wait" and if it's any help...it's country and the man in the song has a child with the woman...but...don't know it.

You haven't lost me...I think.

It sounds like it could be 'These Days', by Rascal Flatts. I know the lyrics contain a line about how 'those planes don't wait', but there's nothing about a marquee. It's on their album 'Melt', so if you go to Amazon.com you can probably get a sample of the song on the album's page and that'll tell you if it's the right one that I'm thinking of. It is country style, so I think it is, but check it out first as I'm not 100%.

Good luck...
