    Default Soul song anyone know?!!!

    I heard someone driving by the other day and playing a soul song...the man singing sounded a bit like al green or lenny williams but I honestly dont know. The only lyrics I could catch were "A better maaaann, a better maaaan, and something sounded like "I tip my hat". I cant find it anywhere and Ive been looking for 2 weeks. I just know it was a soul song. Does anyone have any idea?
