Default Searching for a very old 50's or 60's song info.

Hi, I used to listen to this song as a child with my dad - it was on an old 45 style vinyl record from the 50's or 60's - it may have been the B-side of the record, the lyrics go something like...
Jump on your broomstick and fly away.

My dad died over 20 years ago so unfortunately I can't ask him.

I would be so grateful if anyone can tell me what this song was, who sang it and (if it was the B side) what the A side of the record was.
    Many thanks, Suzie

Just a thought - does anyone know of another site dedicated to questions about songs from the 50's, 60's etc as a lot of the queries on this site seem to apply to more recent songs?

    Is it this song?:

Bobby Goldsboro - "Broomstick Cowboy" (1966)

    Sorry, I can't answer your question about side A & B.

Guess what - I finally found it..... it was the B side of 'Up On The Roof' by Kenny Lynch - I am over the moon at finding it - now I just need to listen to it somehow - can you believe there isn't one MP3 copy of it on the whole WWW !! I can buy a copy off ebay but problem is I no longer have a record player - any suggestions where I can buy an MP3 version??
    Thanks all.
