I've been trying to redo the soundtrack for a student film I did back in 1992.

I have two songs I cannot identify in the student film.

This is a nice heavy guitar track. I've scanned so many old rock albums trying to find this. Zeppelin 2,3,4, In the the Out Door, Houses of the Holy. It sounds like Zeppelin a bit but I really can't figure it out.

I've also tried many more albums that I had back in 1992. The Police, Peter Gabriel, Joe Satriani Extremist (almost the right style). The Cure?? It seems like classic rock from the 70s but it could really be anything from 1992 or earlier. This one is driving me crazy because it seems like it was a bit song and should be obvious...

The second song I'm trying to find is probably a lot more difficult or impossible.

First off, this clip has tons of really bad static throughout. I really need to replace this music in the student film with a good copy but I have not idea what it is. Its kind of an upbeat song with a bit of tension at times. If anyone can figure this one out I would be completely amazed. Again - the only thing I really know about this song is it is from 1992 or before.

Once these are identified, I can finally finish this project.
