90's song "Stay With Me"

I've tried to find this song on my own for some time but had no luck. I had it on the tape given by the friend. It was claimed to be by Ace of Base but it's not even though it is similar in style. Maybe it's even not 90's.
I remember the chorus something like that:

If I'd be able to find the tape I'd probably could give more lyrics...I'm just really curious to know who sings it.
