    There is a song from the 80's. Folkish, male with guitar. Lyrics include "stop the world and let me off..." Used to hear it on alternative radio out of Santa Cruz.

    Any help out there? Looking for artist and title.

    Could it have been a country style song? If so, maybe Waylon Jennings or Dwight Yoakam or David Ball singing Stop The World (And Let Me Off).
