Default I've been looking for this song for 10 years....please help!

    Hi everyone!

I have no idea who sang this song or what the title is but I heard is on Rick Dee's weekly top 40's. I taped a majority of the the song back around 95'-97' and the song goes something like this (there may be a few mistakes in the lyrics, the tape is kinda old and it's kinda hard to hear the song in certain parts) :

We're too perfect for each other, you can't run away
coz you don't find love like this everyday....everyday

I think I know what you want in me
I think I know that I can give it
I think I know what we give in time
We can find the rest of our life
I think if you really wanted too
    You'll never find another...
Give me just the rest of your life

I know I never think of running out or moving on
coz no one understands me the way that you do
    how can it be wrong?

I think I know what you want in me
I think I know that I can give it
I think I know what we give in time
We can find the rest of our life
I think if you wanted too
    there'll never be another...
Give me just the rest of your life

    Tell me what you need
    You can trust me
    say you want me

    Tell her let me be
    your one and only
    no sense in being lonely
    ye-ah!

    One
    Two
    Three
    Four

I think I know what you want in me
I think I know that I can give it
I think I know what we give in time
We can find the rest of our life
I know if you wanted too
    there'll never be another...
I think I know what we give in time
We can find the rest of our life
I think I know what you want in me
I think I know that I can give it
I think I know what we give in time
We can find the rest of our life
I know if you wanted too
    there'll never be another...

Give me just the rest of your life

Give me just the rest of your life

    oh yeah...

Give me just the rest of your life

    I think I know

    I think I know
    I think I know

Please if anyone can help me they'll be my hero! I've tried google and everything else but found nothing. Please guys you're my only hope!

Female singer, style was very rock/pop similar to Six Pence None the Richer but music wasn't as soft

Have you been to Rick Dee's web site? You can email him, it may be a long shot, but he would probably be able to help. I just typed in Rick Dee in Google.

Have you been to Rick Dee's web site? I have been in that position myself where I really, really want to know lyrics, or artiste. It may be a long shot, but it says you can email him. I just typed in Rick Dee in google.

Default Don't know the title, but have the MP3

I was also looking for that song name awhile back. Here's a link to the MP3, if you want a higher quality version of the song. I'd love to know who it is, so I can buy her CD. I got this song off a compilation CD from a KC radio station... but I don't have the booklet it came in... nor does iTunes recognize the CD....
    argh.

    Bump!

Sorry, I know this is an old thread but no sense in recreating the wheel.

I have been looking for this for a number of years too. It is on a Hot 106.7 Fall 1999 Dare to Care CD Sampler I have. Sadly, I only have the disc, no jewel case. I have searched the web by lyrics and CD title with no luck. Hopefully someone can help.
