Help!!!!

My Dad & I are trying to figure out a song..... The only thing that he is giving me to go on is he heard it on a classic rock radio station. And the only part of the lyrics he remembers is: The Weekend Starts On....... He thinks it's by Cheap Trick but im almost positive thats not it. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Now remember it's a CLASSIC ROCK song It's not fatboy slim or Hey mercedes
