Solved: Song title???

I have a song in my head from the early 80's, it's been bugging me for years..

It's in a similar style to dream academy, with a slightly military feel, with marching drums and pipes in the background..

One of the verses is sung by a female voice, the lyrics being something like..

The last film I ever saw, it was a film so sincere..... etc..

The chorus was both male and female voices, the lyrics were something like..

And the time, and the time went by..(followed by an ascending flute type riff)

I haven't a clue what it is, but it keeps playing in my head, almost drowning out the voices in there!

Also, I have an instrumental piece from the same era, which was used for a MacUwans beer advert, which involved a load of bluey grey coloured people rolling huge boulders round a maze of some sort. At the end there's a closeup of a pint being poured and the people all crowd round as if inside a television screen watching it, licking their lips.

There's no lyrics, but it starts with a guitar riff, and some odd drum sounds, then goes into a chorus with people singing a na na na na na style tune over the top. I seem to think it was done by some scottish band, but I could be wrong.

Both obscure 80's stuff, anyone know what they were and if I can get them now??

I need the music to drown out the silence in my life.
