For years this has really bugged me

My older brother used to have a mix tape in the mid to late 1980's with a song on it, but I have never heard the song since and have no idea who it was by.

The song is in English with parts of the chorus in what I think was French. It also has lyrics about a King and Queen

That is all I can remember.

Anyone any ideas at all???
