HELP! This song is eating my brain!

I have had a song stuck in my head for about 2 weeks now. I keep hearing the tune but can remember only a few of the lyrics. I heard the song the first time back in 2000. The only lyrics I can remember are... " I am, King of the wasteland... I am, drowning man. I am, sole survivor..." The style was slow rock/ slow goth...nothing thrashy. I really need to find the name of the song and/or the artist. I think I had originally found it on either Napster or MP3.com. But not sure....
