Solved. Check the guy's track record

Hi,
I'm after the name of a track by the Fall (Yes I know they've released more albums than most of us have had hot dinners) If it's not the Fall it's definitely Mark E Smith's unmistakable voice.
The only words I can remember are from the chorus "Check the record, check the record, check the guy's track record."
If anyone could help out here with the track name and album I'd be most happy,
