Solved: 90s Bass Movie track- Please help!

I'll preface this by saying the song was played during the 90s in an action/thriller movie. I think it's also been used recently for various thriller/ action montage's on movie channels.

It has a low bass guitar strumming out the main melody with slight drums. Then a voice cuts in with "Play it, play it, play it" and the bass line repeats. It doesn't have much variation in the track and would be a strong song for a fight scene/ car chase or intro.

It sounds like the bass before it rises up and goes into the melody. The long even strumming of similar tone is most like the song I'm thinking of.

I searched the "play it" lyrics many times but came up with the wrong results.
