reminds me of Love's "Alone Again Or"

well, that's it, pretty much. I've heard this song on the radio (college/alt) and something about the song really suggests Love's 'alone again or'. It's recent, I pretty sure, within the past 6 maybe 12 months, and played by a station that plays a huge range of music, Decemberists to Grateful Dead to Felice Bros to Leonard Cohen

So, not much help there, I know, but you figured out "abergavenny" for me in no time, so I thought I'd give it a shot :~)

ETA: not the whole song, but the intro/buildup seems similar, where in the Love song it's "well, it's alright..."

I'm sure that is Love... not the original single version, but I'm sure it's them.

OK, been doing some mooching and found a 'soundcheck' for their Forever Changes concert.... different lead singer obviously but you'll hear ...

'yeah, said it's alright' instead of 'yeah, well it's alright'

Hey, that Calexico version is great! But, it's a great song no matter who's doing it.

But I think you mistunderstood, and re-reading my post, I see that I wasn't very clear. I'm looking for a new song which reminds me of Alone Again Or, particularly the intro. The rest of the song goes off in a different direction. I've heard it a number of times recently, so I'm assuming it's pretty recent, and I thought maybe someone would know the song I'm looking for.

Course, maybe it's just me, and I'm the only one to hear 'alone again or' in it
