I'm 100% positive of one thing; the artist's name starts with a J
it has something to do with skies, and/or gray.

It is a sad song, and the video takes place in a school play yard.

Maybe "Grey Room" by Damien Rice?
But if you're 100% sure the artist's name starts with J, then it's definitely not him.
