Hmm, what they sing sounds like "Magic Man" to me.
In fact there IS a song which fits in the genre perfectly, but very hard to find...this:

Yes, I also thought about Boulevard. But they're really hard to find. So it's impossible to check if they are performers here :-(

The manner of singing seems so familiar to me. I think I heard it somewhere before. Besides "Magic man" I also hear something like "magic manic (+smth after it)" in the refrain. But since English is not my native language I can be wrong.

well, what we'd need is an audible proof from a disco collector who has that record, he could tell us if it's Boulevard or not.
Plus, you could also contact the guy who put the release on discogs. He might still have that single and tell you what's what...
