Took me ages to find it, but here it is:
Round 2 by Mellowtoy (from the album: Nobody Get's Out Alive)
audio sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R-BQMKFizs starts at (0:24)
edit: I posted "Mellowtoy - Round II" all over the video of the guy who refused to post the name of the song.(I just !HATE! it when people hog songs and won't share artist and title.) :/

Me too, but it's common practice, especially in the French-speaking funk scene I encountered this phenomenon.
Reason: you should not be able to use the music in your own videos, that's one thing. Plus, they want - SERIOUSLY they did tell it to me this way! - they want the vinyl in question to stay obscure and rare so that the prices on ebay do not drop too much!!!
It's also a means to feel "elite" (only 100 people in the world have this, and I am amongst them)
They even INVENT fake names (e. g. "Cat Daddy - Y'All Lazy People" is not the real song from Budweiser Records, but in fact it turned out to be a deliberate (!) misnomer of MONET - "Come On To Me") to lead people on the wrong track (in the truest sense of the word).
But I also found out that people who think that way usually cannot even spell their mother language properly, they already think in "texto" (SMS language), so you're rather supposed to find a needle in a haystack than an averagely clever guy amongst them...

Now you know why I were writing it in an almost "polite" way, too. What I actually *THINK* is something rather devastating, in contrary to that![]()
