    A friend made me a CD with various bands on it. He does not know the name of band in question. Probably recorded after 2000.
    It's got a great hook.
    The song is up tempo rock with following lyrics:

    Thanks, if anyone can help with the artist and song name. I really like the song, but the recording I have sucks,(sounds like it was recorded off of the radio) I need to buck up and get a good version.

    Can you upload the bad version here? It might help. Sounds like the song might be called "So Far Gone".

    Other than sending a zip file, I can't figure out how to upload part or all of the song.

    I made a zip file with part of a verse and part of the chorus and it was still 300 plus kb. Which is far above the limit??

    Tell me how and I would be happy to upload.

    Got it working but I don't recognize it. The singer reminds me of Bad Religion...
