I'm trying to translate a song which is performed by Roberto Murolo & Mia Martini Cu'mme in English. Can someone please help? I'm not sure if it's Neapolitan? Thank you

I appreciate the time you took to translate this for me. Is there a big difference in dialect with neopolitan & Italian?

Sometimes Neapolitan (real Neapolitan, not the one you hear on television) results incomprehensible to most italians.

I am not from Naples, but half of my family comes from the South, so I am used to the sound of it and- also if sometimes I don't know the exact translation of the word used- I can understand it pretty well...

I wouldnt be able to speak it, or to get it if spoken fast by an old person XD

I understand most of it, but for some reason can't put it together. If that makes sense. Can you recommend a way that would be easy for me to learn?

you can start translating children books ^___^ cause they have simple sentences, no dialettal expressions and the verbs are not very hard.

I'd say not to start with the translation of songs or adult books cause they are very hard (and songs I think are harder than books XD )
