Thank you again Minollo. He has an uncanny ability to speak about love without being sentimental or as we say in English, "corny." I can't think of any American songs except "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" that can come close to the poetry of Minghi and Italian songs in general.

May I express my opinion to you Debora ??? Amedeo Minghi has a special way to speak about love, I think that he is one of the composers and singers for a special public... for example, other superb love songs may be "Nina" from Mario Castelnuovo, or those sung by the Alunni del Sole group in the 70's... the rest of the groups and singers follow approximately the same line of expressing the love, both if it's entended in a happy or a sad way...
Regarding Minghi, take a look at this funny clip... He can also be ironic and "simple" !!!
