Default Help me ya shahrazad !!

    Hi,

I don't know how to translate the last verse of the song أرجعي يا ألف ليلة for Fairouz :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm4_N...4B354&index=10

أرجعي يا ألف ليلة غيمة العطر
فالهوى يروي غليله من ندى الفجر
    إن أشواقي الطويلة أقصرت عمري
و حكاياكي خميلة في مدى الدهر

My problem is the word خميلة. I know حكاياكي means your stories (plural) and according the arabic rules the plural of inanimate things are grammatically feminine words. So خميلة is related to خميلand means (according my searches) silky fabric / velvet fabric /sweet food/cloud but I guess it doesn't make sense : your stories will be (like) a velvet fabric forever.
There is the word خميلة that means coppice/copse/brush/brushwood/spinney/wood but خميلة is a singular word(plural : خمائل ) but is also a feminine word so my question is : Is it correct to say : (singular) حكاياكي خميلة and the verse would be translated into : And your stories/tales will be/remain forever like a coppice/forest.
What do you guys think about ?

    Thanks in advance
