    can also be used as 'oh man' when you're calling someone

    Hi, I know this post doesn't belong here but I really really reaaaaaaally need a translation of a Hisham Abbas song called 'Masadatesh/Gheyabak from his Ta3ala Gamby album.     ittaSalet ma3ao=I called him(by phone)

    *naadaa=to call out,announce

    abook 3am benaadek =your father is calling you.


    *sammaa=to call,to give a name

    esh sammetu al-walad?what have you called the baby?

    *talfan=to telephone ,to ring,to call

    batalfen lo ba3deyn=I will call him later



    *labbaqa=to call bty a nickname

    belabbqoone=They call me names


    *3addan=to call to prayer

    3addan al-3aSr=he called to the afternoon prayer.
