but im still thinking that the best way to learn german is...take some classes in you know an institut like ehmmm lets say the Goethe one xDD
or live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland =)
so... i'm envying you xD, you must be learning so much (tears)
i bought a dvd, but it sucks...i just learned the colors, the numbers, the months, and that kind of stuff
and its kinda difficult cos i dont even speak englisch well, and ehmmm i really like to learn some slangs you know, i learned englisch just watching TV and at the school of course, but what about the german slangs¿??¿?¿?? where i could find them xDDD

I would say they're correct. I took two years of german.
I threw away all my notes, but we learned this I am sure. It would be ist instead of sei. If you mean "I will" then it is ich werde.

and this is a hard one xD i luv watch soccer games, and i was watching a game, maybe from the bundesliga i guess lol, and of course the crowd sing some stuff, i mean in all the languages in a stadium, soccer game, we all sing stuff to cheer our team, right? but id really want to know what the german people sing in that case =)

Depends on the team, I'd say. Every team has its special songs which the fans sing to encourage their idols.

No, "ich ham" is not correct the formally correct one would be "Ich habe", slang-like: "Ich hab", leaving out the "e" at the end.
"Du hast" does not have a short form and so does "er/sie/es hat".

kriegen = get
bekriegen = fight

I have a question.

When a verb has a separable prefix and it is separated from the verb, does it always go to the end of the sentence or clause or are there allowed exceptions? If in song lyrics it is not at the end, is this taking liberties with the rule or is it acceptable in certain cases? If not to the end where should it be placed to avoid confusion?

As in the French language you have to learn the gender of things You are right about the Tür, though nothing would indicate it being female it is "Die Tür", meaning "sie" in conclusion. While it is "Der Fernseher" - what's so male about a TV?

The German word for girl, to me, seems one of the hardest to find out the gender. While a girl is clearly female, it is neuter in the language.

yes, SEXISM. Also with the word that I was taught in school that no one uses now: das Fräulein. Probably hasn't been used since the 19th century

Generally they are used in quite the same way, but looking at your sentence no one would actually say "Das Haus verbrennt." There's no rule against it, yet things that big don't burn this way ... For me verbrennen ist used with smaller things, like wood. And "brennen" has much more meanings, like biting on the skin, cauterize in a chemical way -- for none of these you would use "verbrennen". Still, the general "rule" would say that you can use both in the same way. If you're not sure, rather use "brennen".

If you keep in mind that it is "Die Träume verbrennen", it sounds OK.
