Honestly, these sentences sound weird in Greek... they don't make sense... they could mean something like:
Εγώ πονώ για σένα=I suffer for you
Τίποτα (σου) λέω, αλλά ένας βάρεσε καρδιά=I'm telling you it's nothing, but someone hit the heart (???)
Δε χωράς. Γιατί;=You don't fit. Why?

I must tell you again that I'm not sure if that's the right translation, at least I tried.

Happy birthday to your friend Adrienne!

Χρόνια σου πολλά αγαπημένε μου φίλε! Σου εύχομαι ό,τι καλύτερο, υγεία, πολλή αγάπη και ευτυχία... Σ' αγαπώ πάρα πολύ!

And in latin characters just in case that you can't read the Greek ones:
Hronia sou polla agapimene mou file! Sou efhome o,ti kalitero, iyia, polli agapi ke eftihia... S' agapo para poli!

P.S. I translated only the word friend without the 'greek' cause I think it sounds better, but if you want me to translate it there's no problem, I will.

This isn't proper Greek so it leaves itself open to a lot of speculation and different interpretations. Maria's version is one possibility. Mine goes like this:

"I ache for you, and (though) I keep silent it's heavy on my heart, and (you) are asking why?"

I still doubt it is what your friend meant to say, but the only way to find out is to copy and paste (if you have not done that already) what is on the profile. Then we might be able to help more.

Oh Zvezda your translation makes more sense! In fact, I wouldn't ever imagine that varees could be varos lol!

Smile Thank YOU!!

Ty both for your responses...they helped with the general Idea...and He speaks english well enough to redirect me...You are correct in stating that the Greek is not "proper" as he is not from Greece...he is from Cyprus, and their language is closer to the older text from my understanding...

I do so appreciate this forum though and thank you all for your support on this

I'm the only one who loves you... but I don't forgive you that you let it go so far (not sure about this). I'm leaving not because I don't want you to be here. I'm leaving so that I don't see you leaving.

Ah those Cypriots write just as they speak, I knew it but my mind didn't go there. I can understand them better when I hear them speaking though, it's so much easier...

Red face Maria...

Giggling here at your response to him being a Cypriot....I just thank Heavens he speaks English well enough to carry a good conversation...he knows when he puts greek on his profile though that I will go looking for answers to what it means...he does it he says so noone will tell him he is an idiot...I enjoy the challenge, but I think most translators cater to the mainland greek though...am i wrong? This makes it harder for me to even learn if the dialect is that far off

Heyy everyone

I'm new here and loving it already! I just wanted to know:

There is a word (I think) in Greek-"ε"- and I sometimes find it in "ε και" and such things. What does it mean? Is it an idiomatic expression? By the way, it is from a song, but it hasn't been translated yet

Well, "e kai" is synonymous with "so what". The "e" shows that you
don't care about something and "kai" means "and" in this context.

Well, he may be from Cyprus, but it's not "proper" Cypriot either.
A Cypriot would say "gia senan" ("gia esi" is impossible). Also "lalo" instead of "le(g)o", "karkia" instead of "kardia", and so forth.
Are you sure he's not from Northern Cyprus?

Yeah, "ε, και" is something like "so?" or "and?".

Το κινητό δεν έχει κάμερα μπροστά; Ε, και; - The cell phone doesn't have a front-facing camera? So?

Έγινα 40! Ε, και; - I turned 40! So what?
