Do you produce any wine in Turkey? I've never seen any anywhere. At the moment I've got some californian zinfandel, and very tasty it is indeed. I can only drink sweet wine, anything else makes me cough I might give South Africa a try then.

They make Tcherga in Domaine Menada - the winery of my city. Not bad at all.
Speaking of Bulgarian wines, I'd recommend the wines of Katarzyna Estate, especially Question Mark Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot and Encore Syrah (mmmm, syrah!). The Estate is located in the former borderline area, the No Man's Land between Bulgaria and Greece, close to the village of Mezzek.
And of the Greek wines - the ones of Domaine Gerovassiliou (Thessaloniki region, Epanomi, to be exact).
Turkish wines? I'd say Kavaklıdere's Yakut Red.
The season of red wines is coming.
My, my, how off topic are we! lol

I took it form official page pf Mihalis Hatzigiannis.I think it is news about the outcoming album but i'm not sure.So can anyone help me?

I really hope my translation is correct Here you are:
Two years after his four times platinum awared album, "Friends and Enemies", Mixalis Hatzigiannis returns with his new studio album. His new album includes 11 new songs, 11 big hits! The music of all songs is (composed) by Mixalis and the lyrics are (written) by Eleana Braxali, Nikos Mwraiths and Mixalis himself. The hit/success "The two of us as one" is included in the album.

Yes we do, I dunno where they export them though....
Apart from famous Kavaklıdere wines, that Panselinos mentioned, we have a brand called Selection, expensive but nice.
But when it comes to Turkish wines, I prefer Sirince wines. Sweet fruit wines, cheap and really nice; especially blackberry, raspberry and blueberry wines. They have almost every fruit's wine. It's this village where Dido Sotiriou was born, old name was Kirkica. I bought 20 wines there when I went 2 summers ago. They made a huge discount. It's a nice touristic village, with obviously nice Greek background.
Yes we are so off-topic? Am I gonna be told off again?

Bulgarian and Moldovian wines are very underrated. I dont think I can find those wines here but in Greece, I'll give a try...or better, let my hubby search
Where's your city? I liked Patra and Delfi wines a lot as well.

Well, they're not that underrated. Question Mark and Katarzyna Reserve won 3 medals at the San Francisco Wine Competition this year. Contemplation Syrah and Terra Tangra Syrah won medals at the latest edition of Syrah du Monde competition in France.
As a matter of fact, Turkey won a medal there as well - for Karma Syrah Boğazkere.
And so did Greece - for Domaine Costa Lazaridi Syrah, Syrah Alpha Estate, Syrah Boutari.
When it comes to wines, I'm extremely fastidious.
If you want to enjoy really good wine and food, I'd recommend Varoulko in Athens. Chef Lazarou is a magician. Unfortunately, we don't have a restaurant of this quality in Thessaloniki.
P.S. I've never tasted Moldovian wine.
P.S. Guys, let's move this conversation to the "General chit-chat" thread please.

greek alternative?
ok im not sure how many of you are familiar with alternative rock in the US & UK (bands like Chevelle, Muse, The Audition)... but i was wondering if there is such a thing as a greek "alternative" band? (sry not very familiar of how greeks 'brand' rock like americans do - aka, punk, hardcore, emo, etc-) && if there is does anyone have any favorites to recommend?? i kinda bored with rock in a america and im dying for more greek music! I'm open to anything just not pop rock....
thanks in advance!!

You're talking about the movie title, right? The official english title is: IN LOVE WE TRUST. LIterally, the title translates as : (you) Trust (in) love = Have faith in love.

You're right about the translation but I don't understand what you want us to write in Greek? Or maybe you wanted to have the phrase written in latin characters?
In which case, here you are: alitheia einai agapi.

thanks so much for your suggestions. Ypogeia Reumata looks really good! but i was just wondering if there was any indie rock (they dont have to speak english, greeks actually better cuz i get to hear it from their perspective)? -like any underground/breakout bands that are just barely coming out, that they havent signed on to any major labels and stuff [like they're waiting to get discovered...]

Hmm this sentence isn't correct. It is either 'ki emena mou leipei h Kalliopi mou' or 'ki emena mou leipeis Kalliopi mou'. But I think that it's the first one.
ki emena mou leipei h Kalliopi mou=I also miss my Kalliopi
ki emena mou leipeis Kalliopi mou=I miss you too, my Kalliopi
