Yo creo que es como en Argentina, cuando contamos un chiste, se dice mucho "dice que venia tal....". no sé si me explico...

We also use "dizque" a lot in Mexico. It means something like "supposedly": dizque la vio con otro.... dizque iba a llamarme hoy... dizque es ingeniero... etc.

... of course we mexicans pronounce the "z" in it, but dominicans "eat" it... thats's all

yea, that's how i hear it most of the times (from dominicans too)

and they don't eat it, so much as say "f' it" and skip it all together jaja

A bit old, but I just read this.

Fresco is such a rich word with multiple meanings, both negative & positive.

It is used for:

food/drink - fresh, refreshing
temperature - cool, chilly
art (those famous & expensive frescos!)
person - someone who is not tired, who is cheeky, forward, loose, a person who has nerve.

can somebody translate that for me? All i understand is the line that says "Ommmmmbe Baby Rasta esta kiyaoooooo" (Baby Rasta is mad :P). It's talking about the beef between Vakero (and all the Dominicans) and Baby Rasta
