stillness in tone ?

Hello Forum,
at the moment I'm writing and recording songs, some of them with my own lyrics. A question came up so I ask here, maybe somebody likes to answer.

I want to express something like "stillness in tone". I think this is the more unusual term, but I like it.
I suppose "stillness of sound" or "sound of silence" is correct and more usual.

So my question: Is "stillness in tone" only unusual or is it simply wrong so it would be better not to use it?

Nice idea... I like it. Honestly, I woul;d sujest you "words' stillness" it's an opinion... Or "tone's stillness" ?
