I have to be a killjoy about this, but just keep in mind that my response is also only my opinion, so don't take offense to it.

Firstly, the lyrics are so simple that it's possible whoever wrote the songs (do Hilary and Miley even write their own songs?) came up with a similar verse by accident. Pop music aimed at preteen girls is generally not all that deep and thoughtful, so the lyrics aren't often very creative. Also, are the melodies the same? That would seem to be more indicative of music theft.

Dreams is right... Little girls aspire to be Hannah Montana when they don't even know she's a made up character so how they're going to know the lyrics are stolen I haven't got a clue.


It's pop music, nothing about it is real or timeless.
