Default "now i'm lying next to you?"

Please help, I feel like I'm the only one who has heard this beautiful song and I'm having having a hard time finding it. I believe the lyrics go like this...
"Now I'm lying next to you, we share our hearts beneath destiny, and I give it all to you, we share..." And that's all I seem to hear each time that song comes on the radio. The artist sounds like it could be Natalie Cole or another African-American woman with a similar sounding alto voice. Also, the song has a break in it with a quick pace samba beat. If anyone has any ideas, any at all, I'd appreciate it. Been looking for this song for years, with zero success, maybe I have the lyrics mixed up a little?!

The song is "Oasis" by Roberta Flack.

It says "Now I'm laying next to you.
We share our hearts beneath desert moon."

It's the title track to her Oasis CD and also appears on "Softly with these Songs" (a best-of collection.)
