i think the repeating words works well in the first verse. but not after that, it gets real old, especially because in teh second verse its not nearly as smooth. the first verse's repeats are concise and part of the whole line, where in teh second verse its drawn out and its like you just repeat the words just so it will flow at all. overall it seems like its a good place to start, id rewrite teh second verse, and try and get some more complex verses in there. try to tell more of your story with less words, make each word count, don't jsut throw in like and add more till it works.
