I love the refrain!This is a Classic refrain,and the verses are great.For me to Comment on a Song Lyric that doesn't have a constant rhyme is saying something.Something real good,great job!

It's funny, I labor like hell sometimes to get just the right rhyme, but this is a perfect example of how foolish it is to worry so much about that. I didn't even notice til you mentioned it Doug.

I really like the chorus, very tight. I also think your opening line is great. Puts you right in line for the rest of the story.
