    Default Repeat

    Verse one:
Hey darling, you look so lonely tonight.
I wish someone would learn to treat you right.
You know I can't give you what you need.
And you're stuck doing the same things; you're lifes on repeat.

    Pre-chorus: (2x's)
And maybe if you talked a little bit,
we could get down to the bottom of it,
    dont ya think?

    Verse two:
Hey honey, I know you're aching just to breath.
You wish someone would help you when you're on your knees.
You know the cuts aren't helping, but it makes you feel alive.
Even though you wish sometimes you could die.

    Chorus:
And maybe if you talked a little bit,
we could get down to the bottom of it,
    don't ya think?
And don't you miss laughing instead of always wanting something to drink.
We all know you're much better then this, so go somewhere and find your happiness.

    Verse three:
Hey sweetie, I know you're building that bridge.
The one that will lead you to live.
You know you can't always get what you need.
But you're taking steps to finally see, what you can be.

    Chorus:
And maybe if you talked a little bit,
we could get down to the bottom of it,
    don't ya think?
And don't you miss laughing instead of always wanting something to drink.
We all know you're much better then this, so go somewhere and find your happiness.

This is written for several people; about several people. Including myself. Its suppose to be simple and to the point. Could've gone into more detail but I figured why not.
Any critic is welcome; the more, the better. :-)

    Traingirl, hi)
Another one of yours discovered only today in the forest of poems, lol
And a good one, sure:honest and straight forward, even with an optimistic tone:
"don't search the solution in another drink, no, try something else! Yeah! A punch in the face, yourself included as you mention.
Thanks, baby, words to be remembered and a fine chorus too!

Btw, loneliness is a toptheme these days with all those millions walking around with their soul on their sleeves, Traingirl.
I'd hope someone finds consolation here
