First post- Best of Intentions

Strangly, I wrote this in about 5 mins while doing a random bulletin on myspace, the reason being I've found that I do my best work when I'm not trying to. I havn't found a way to sing it yet, (Im a vocalist, and the song doesn't exactly flow) but I still think its a pretty good song. But really, thats for yall to decide.


The Best of Intentions

with the best of intentions.

And our minds reel,
at the sight of our own blood,
poured for all the wrong causes.
Burn what you don't understand,
and leave behind only scortched land,
And then hide the skeletal closet.

NICE. I like how you let the reader decide what it is the "song" is about. I mean obviously the corruption of man, but WHAT corruption? For me it was money and the government. Go figure. Good song by the way. You should definitely NOT try to try to write songs more often, if you can understand that.
