Why do people always put suicidal lyrics and say "it's a metal sound"?

Only kiddie metal is suicidal, adult metal like Slayer and Iron Maiden lifts me up and makes me feel better (although I'm a pretty ok person anyway).


Personally I'd do this is a goth (which isn't rock or metal, it's goth) style...
