if the world will still rotate without you
so our voice just passes through
care free like the wind
we go in one ear and out the other
they tie us down, hold us down
laugh down at the suffering while striking us down
its an argument we can’t win
its a road we didn’t take

with lost hope, a darkened soul and a life out of control
how do you stand to fight
get the courage to believe
cause even after freedom we still grieve
so all my people lets stand united
we understand each other so it’s best if we help each other
don’t rely on those who promise
but those who we call sister, mother, father and brother
changes must occur
if not history will repeat itself
so we lie, cheat and steal for wealth
if not we find our self back at the starting block
dogging bullets; fighting for our health
