Yeah, this is based on a true story, media manipulates news and transforms it into fiction, they make out that tragedies are inspired by people with insane minds, when really, we’re insane for believing it.

There once was a kid,
And a dad and a mum,
Mum got stressed so,
Too much she drunk,

Used to be a good person,
Never put herself first and,
Always made sure,
Her son felt loved,

But now he growing up,
Kid got it tough,
Mum and dad fight,
Starts to get rough,

Dad comes home,
Mum’s on drugs,
Popping pills like sweets,
Saying she’s had enough,

No money coming in,
Can’t get a job,
Got laid off,
By her previous boss,

Dad works two shifts,
Tryna make dough,
‘Cause of mums habit,
He needs more O’s,

What to we do,
When we hear bad news today,
We just point the finger and,
Shift the blame,

Never want to,
Take responsibility,
Here’s the real truth of a,
Modern day tragedy,

Dad can’t provide,
For his family,
No hope left inside,
So he joins mums, activity,

Now there’s two drug addicts,
Living at home,
Forgetting their sons just,
12 years old,

Son comes home from,
A bad day at school,
Got no friends there,
They say he aint cool,

Unlocks the door,
Walks into the kitchen,
Both parents passed out,
In their own piss ‘N’,

Neither of them breathing,
He tries to wake ‘em up,
Next to mum he’s screaming,
God don’t take ‘em up,

This is a story,
About a family,
Torn apart,
In a drug ridden tragedy,

Two good people,
Who cracked from the strain,
But they are looked upon,
As fiends with no name,

It couldn’t be the stress,
They must’ve been insane,
They say this ‘cause they don’t wanna,
Experience the pain,

What to we do,
When we hear bad news today,
We just point the finger and,
Shift the blame,

Never want to,
Take responsibility,
Here’s the real truth of a,
Modern day tragedy,

The neighbour walks in,
Needs the door for support,
He can’t believe,
What he just saw,

There’s blood on the floor,
A knife in a Childs hand,
Two slashed wrists,
One on, his old man,

His other hand grips,
That of his mothers,
Even though they’re dead,
You can tell they love each other,

This goes on,
More than you‘d want to find,
But we choose to claim it’s,
Just insane minds.
